Assistant General Manager

Seacliff Inn, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton is actively seeking a knowledgeable Assistant General Manager who is passionate about guest services to join our team.
The Assistant General Manager will work alongside the General Manager to help lead a dedicated team to provide an exceptional guest experience.

Core functions of the position, but are not limited to the following;oCommunicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
oProficient at all Guest Service systems and processes.
oSupervise, train, coach and retrain Guest Service Team on systems, processes, procedures and guest interaction.
oOversee and ensure accountability in all aspects of Guest Service Team's performance.
oResponsible for all front office activity during scheduled shifts.
oMonitor and adjust room availability status.
Monitor and complete filing of registration cards, reservations, correspondence and no-shows and signatures on file.
oComplete the following individual duties:
1.
Daily Cash Report (DCR)2.
No-Shows3.
Billing disputes4.
Accounts receivable5.
Banking6.
Bad checks, credit card debts7.
Open, stamp, sort, distribute mail8.
Accounts payable preparation9.
Security reports10.
Check and audit banksoCheck Room Attendant's List and ensure room availability status is accurate.
oCheck timecards to posted schedule.
oSubmit daily report to General Manager (written or verbal).
oMaintain good guest relations by keeping abreast of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses in person and on the phone.
oContribute to and maintain established information and communication sources such as department and front desk logbooks in order to enhance department communications and operations.
oProvide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
oPerform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements:
Hotel front desk operations and procedures.
Personnel supervision and training.
Salesmanship and public relations.
Ability to make timely, effective decisions.
Ability to prioritize, organize and delegate work assignments.
Ability to maintain good team member relations.
Ability to develop and maintain effective guest relations.
Ability to manage multi-departmental operations.
Ability to direct performance of team members and follow-up with corrective action where needed.
Ability to work long hours, 5 to 6 days a week.
Basic accounting procedures.
Cash registers, computers and calculators required.
Current valid driver's license, proof of auto liability insurance.

Pay Range:
$80,000 to $90,000/annually Recommended Skills Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Auditing Billing Coaching And Mentoring Communication Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
