This is a hybrid in-person/telecommuting position located at the Cabrillo College Aptos Campus.
This full-time, 12-months per year Job Developer position under general supervision, assists with planning and implementing job development and place ment services; assists students and program participants with the work readiness and job search process; serves as the liaison between the college or categorically funded program and the business community to develop and secure work-study and work experience positions, internships and career-oriented employ ment opportunities; and performs related duties as assigned.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
